He finished his training with a two-year fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Reichstein is dedicated to ophthalmic tumor diagnosis and management. He specializes in treatment of uveal melanoma and nevus, vitreoretinal and choroidal lymphoma, vascular tumors of the posterior segment, choroidal metastasis, as well as other neoplastic intraocular diseases. He is also skilled in the management of anterior segment tumors, including conjunctival melanoma, conjunctival or corneal intraepithelial neoplasia, and squamous cell carcinomas of the anterior segment.

Beyond his oncology expertise, Dr. Reichstein has significant surgical and clinical experience in treatment of vitreoretinal diseases, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, surgical macular diseases such as macular hole or pucker, and complicated retinal detachment. His cutting-edge knowledge and dedication to patient care make him a leader in his field.

Dr. Reichstein is an esteemed member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the International Society of Ocular Oncology. He is Past Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology of Centennial Medical Center (Nashville, TN, USA) and is Past President of the Nashville Academy of Ophthalmology. His affiliations also include Sigma Xi and Alpha Omega Alpha, further solidifying his commitment to medical excellence and research.
